hey
tarboo ! here's the
Yotsuba&! manga i was trying to explain to you! "GLOW-BALL warming" lol
i love the way she draws! kids' drawings are the bestest子供のえ一番いい!迚も大好きだ!last night i was supposed to go to another Ontario Science Centre "Ideas Gallery" meeting and the boys cancelled on me an hour before hand. there's nothing i dislike more than planning to do one thing and then having my plans change immediately before they're supposed to happen. absolutely nothing. 'cept maybe discourteous/sefish people...
so anyways, i was left to my own devices all evening and did pretty much nothing but watch the first episode of
Dennō Coil, downloaded an anime called
Planetes and read some of the
Yotsuba&! i bought at anime club this week. oh! and i went and got bubble tea with
tarboo and
robocluck . honeydew slush w/ tapioca. i couldn't finish it so the rest is just melted in my fridge for later enjoyment.
then i called Rudy and we talked about nothing in particular but hearing his voice always makes me feel better. even if we're having an argument (which didn't happen last night *phew*) it's still better to hear his voice than not because then i can't sort out the problem and make things better. lately my cheap digital phone service has been cutting in and out during conversations tho. i'm not sure whether it's my phone or the calling service but it seems to be effected by where i'm sitting in my room. if a new phone would fix it than i'd gladly give it a try, but i'm not so sure that it will. the person on the other end always sounds quiet and sometimes even cuts out for whole sentences and i have to ask them to repeat themselves, which can be frustrating. i'm not sure what to do about it.
i'm pretty excited about RWF on Sunday, i just hope we get to go for at least 5 hours. i could literally pet the sheep there for days. all the animals are so cute! (especially when you don't have to feed or clean up after them) hehe. it's nice going to the Fair and enjoying the animals. its an awesome place to bring kids too! totally going to take my kids when i have them (in the future). until then i can run around and eat things and act like a little kid myself! (>v<)
i started watching the first episode of Planetes this morning while i was eating my breakfast and it was drawn and animated so amazingly well! i have a feeling i'm going to be strongly addicted to watching it for the rest of the week. only 26-half hour episodes so it won't last me long, especially since i'm not going home this weekend. tonight i want to go swimming again, and pick up my holds from the library (hopefully some of them will have arrived finally). I've asked for the 3rd volume of Yotsuba&! and the first three volumes of High School Debut, as well as a book on Vintage Style weddings. the only one that seems to be ready tho is Yotsuba.. oh well. that's okay. if i got them all at once i don't think i'd have time to read any of them! but i really want to get that wedding book so that i can get some more ideas for my dress and invitations.
you know, the important stuff. my Mum keeps getting on my case to email the church so we can set the date in stone... but it seems so far away! i'm not looking forward to having to organize all that stuff myself. i just want a pretty dress and my friends and family to be in attendance.
can't wait to get Brutal Legend for my birthday next week! and i've asked for a new computer chair and a electric toothbrush for my birthday too (am i showing my age or what?) the last thing i've been meaning to ask my parents for was a kettle with a clicky button and a stand so i don't have to repeatedly plug-in and unplug my kettle every time i want hot water. besides the fact the cord in the kettle i have now is slowly wriggling its way apart.. not very safe. the upside is i won't have to buy these things again when i finally move into my own house.
plasma tv get? lol
